Chat Rooms

Chat Rooms allow employees to communicate in real-time. The Chat Rooms application supports the configuration of an unlimited number of rooms. Employees can participate in public discussions and send private messages within each chat room. The system administrator can grant or restrict chat room access based on user account, and only the rooms to which an employee has access will appear in his or her chat room menu. The Administrator can also generate chat detail reports on a room-by-room basis to meet audit requirements.

  • Create as many chat rooms as needed.
  • Restrict access to chat rooms on a user-by-user basis.
  • Send private messages inside any chat room.
  • Control the chat room window refresh rate.
  • Set the number of comments visable in the chat window.
  • Restrict the length of the comments posted in a chat room.
